The Venetian style staircase located in the main hallway is certainly unique. It will lead you to several salons, which have kept their historical character and are perfect for getting ready in privacy with your bridal party. With a private suite and 6 Deluxe suites, all with marble bathrooms, 2 family suites and 5 bedrooms located in the castle and 3 suites in the outbuildings, you can host a total of 40 guests with high end facilities to live the castle life.
You can celebrate your ceremony in the private Burgundian Romanesque chapel or in the park. For your summer wedding, you will particularly enjoy the outdoor spaces, ideal for your wedding reception under the stars. The Château also has an orangery for indoor receptions up to 250 people.
We found this location perfect to celebrate a full-weekend destination wedding. You can sit by the pool surrounded by a Burgundy stone floor in harmony with the castle’s facade. You will enjoy a welcome diner or a farewell brunch surrounded by the gardens “à la française” in the lounge area. Your guests can also play on the tennis court located a few meters from the pool.

You will be able to celebrate your ceremony in the consecrated Romanesque chapel or outside and then have your cocktail in the courtyard with a breathtaking 180° view on the surrounding vineyards. In case of rain, the Salle des Comtes can accommodate up to 250 people for your ceremony or cocktail. Your summer reception can be held on the south terrace of the Château with its magical view, or you can welcome your guests in the Tapestry Room, perfect for a reception of up to 150 people. The Lamartine room will be perfect for the dance party.
This venue offers accommodation for 35 people for the weekend, with a suite for the bride and groom located in the castle. La Suite des Comtes has been renovated to perfectly blend the preserved elements of the 18th century with a modern touch. The Guest House is located in a 15th century building leading directly into the courtyard of the Castle with a modern and warm decoration. It has a large dining room and a living room, 2 family suites and 2 bedrooms to accommodate 13 people. Finally, the Guest House, more contemporary, has a common room and a private terrace, 7 rooms with private bathrooms and a suite, to accommodate 20 people.
This makes it ideal for a full-weekend destination wedding where you can enjoy your glass of chardonnay by the pool while enjoying your guests and the breathtaking view of the vineyards.

With an Abbey Palace and a Grande Halle on one side, and the Castle and an Orangery on the other, you can privatize the whole Domain or only one of the two parts according to your needs.
The Abbey of Maizières was founded in the 12th century by Cistercian monks. With its different buildings renovated in soft colors with the Provencal spirit for the exterior, you are immersed in the romantic atmosphere of the place which is perfectly integrated with the nature and its park. A rustic and contemporary décor
With its rustic yet contemporary charm, the Abbey Palace can accommodate 14 people with its 5 rooms and suites, with a fully equipped kitchen and two large living rooms. You will be able to relax before the big day in the 3 hectares park with a pond. By privatizing this part of the Domain, your day of celebration may start with a ceremony in the park, followed by a cocktail in the courtyard of the Abbey Palace. The Grande Halle can accommodate your reception of up to 120 people in a rustic and bright atmosphere with its exposed beams and stone walls. The next day, you can enjoy the swimming pool with its spa and the tennis court.
A historic cachet in a romantic atmosphere
With its romantic atmosphere and its historical cachet, the Château de Maizières offers 7 rooms and a private apartment, 2 lounges, a dining room and a winter lounge in a park of 9 hectares with high end facilities. The Village des Novices can accommodate more than 25 people in unusual accommodations. Regarding your wedding celebration, your ceremony and cocktail party can be held in the park followed by your reception in the Orangery, which can accommodate up to 300 guests in a modern and bright atmosphere. For a more intimate reception, one of the Château’s lounges of honor will be ideal. This part of the property also offers a swimming pool and a tennis court.
